How NUVO began.
I started investing in property in 2013. Self-managed every property for over a decade because I could not find an agent who would treat my portfolio the way I would.
I watched landlords get charged £125 to top up boiler pressure. I watched agents take a full month's rent as a finder's fee - whilst also charging a management fee every single month. I watched compliance deadlines get missed because no one had built a system for it.
Eventually the portfolio grew too big for one person. Cal quit his job to join me and we built the thing we had always wished existed. NUVO launched in 2021 - not as a theory, as a system we had spent years building on our own properties.
We charge less than the high street, we know more than the high street, and we treat every property the way we treat our own. Because we are landlords too.
